My Background
Hello, I'm Kate. I have been working with people who are struggling with their mental health since 2006 and qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 2011. Throughout my career I have had an interest in complementary therapies and have taught meditation and mindfulness to patients and staff within the public and private heath sectors in the UK and Australia.
Through my own personal journey I have ventured down many healing avenues and trained in the ones that had the most significant impact on my life. I am passionate about what I have learnt and experienced, and I want to share these teachings with everyone who would like to benefit from them.
I support and empower adults, children and adolescents who want to improve their lives on an emotional, mental, physical and spiritual level.
I am experienced and trained to work with people who are experiencing mild to severe symptoms of stress, or who have an acute or chronic mental illness, including:

I also have a special interest and experience working with people who have auto-immune diseases, in particular chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, lupus and chronic pain.
I have worked in the inpatient and community settings of mental health including: forensic mental health, learning disabilities, crisis assessment and treatment, alcohol and drug service, eating disorder service, mood disorder service, acute mental illness, A&E mental health assessment, children and adolescent assessment and crisis intervention, mental health educator and mental health triage.
I currently also work for the NHS children and adolescents mental health service crisis assessment and treatment team.
